OpenAI’s developer-mode documentation lists Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise, and Education accounts on the web. Managed workspaces can restrict developer mode, so the account plan alone doesn’t guarantee that the switch is available.
OpenAI’s current UI calls this a developer-mode app. Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login, then create Pathbound from Settings → Plugins. The connection still uses a remote MCP server and OAuth.
