Enrichment

Apollo with Claude & ChatGPT—Apollo MCP server

Firmographic and contact enrichment merged onto the unified profile, so every agent sees company size, industry, funding, and title without a separate lookup. Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible agent.

What it looks like

What does Apollo enrichment look like in Claude?

Connect Apollo once. Your agent gets firmographics on the unified profile—alongside your CRM, email, support, and website events—through one MCP server.

Jane is Senior PM at Acme—fintech, ~240 employees, Series B ($18M raised), per Apollo. HubSpot has her at SQL. She fits your ICP (B2B SaaS, 100–500), so this is worth a tailored, firmographic-aware touch rather than the generic sequence.

Setup

How do I connect Apollo to Claude?

Bring your Apollo API key. Drop a snippet into your MCP client. Ask a question.

  1. 01

    Sign up for Pathbound

    Create an account at pathbound.ai. Free during public alpha.

  2. 02

    Connect Apollo

    In the dashboard, go to Integrations → Apollo → Connect. Paste your Apollo API key (Apollo → Settings → API), or use Pathbound’s managed enrichment quota. Pathbound enriches contacts and companies and merges firmographics onto the unified profile.

  3. 03

    Add Pathbound to your MCP client

    Drop the snippet below into your Claude Desktop config (or in Claude.ai web: Settings → Connected Apps → Add custom MCP → enter https://mcp.pathbound.ai/mcp). The same URL works for ChatGPT, Cursor, Cline, and any MCP client that supports OAuth.

        "pathbound": {
          "url": "https://mcp.pathbound.ai/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  4. 04

    Run a test prompt

    Ask the agent: “What industry and size is acme.com?” The agent calls get_company via MCP and returns the firmographics.

Why Pathbound

Enrichment is only useful where your agent already looks.

A direct Apollo connector gives you a lookup tool. Pathbound merges Apollo enrichment onto the unified profile—next to your CRM, support, email, and web activity—so your agent gets firmographics inline, not from a separate call it has to remember to make.

Firmographics inline

Industry, employee count, revenue, and funding land directly on the contact and company profile. Your agent reads “Acme · fintech · 240 · Series B” as part of the profile, not as a side query.

Identity-resolved

Apollo data merges onto the same unified contact and company you already have from your CRM, Gmail, and website events—no duplicate records, no reconciling IDs by hand.

On the profile, not in a silo

Enriched fields become part of the unified profile every agent and teammate reads. Connect Apollo once; every downstream agent benefits, with no per-agent enrichment wiring.

Built for LLMs

Token-efficient response shapes and server-side aggregation—agents get the firmographic summary and segment counts, not raw enrichment payloads.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is this an official Apollo MCP server?

Pathbound is an independent platform. We connect to Apollo via its API using a key you provide, and expose your data through one Model Context Protocol server alongside your other sources. Not affiliated with Apollo.io.

What does Apollo enrich?

Firmographics (industry, employee count, revenue, funding), plus contact attributes like title and seniority—merged onto the matching unified contact and company so every agent reads them inline.

Is it read or write?

Apollo is an enrichment source: Pathbound pulls firmographic and contact data and writes it onto the unified profile. From there, agents update the unified contact and company with the standard write tools, fanning changes out to your writable sources.

Do I use my own Apollo key or Pathbound’s?

Both work. Bring your own Apollo API key (BYOK) to use your plan’s credits, or use Pathbound’s managed enrichment quota. BYOK keeps enrichment on your own Apollo account.

Which MCP clients does this work with?

Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT (with custom connectors), Cursor, Cline, Continue—any client that supports the Model Context Protocol with OAuth.

Is my customer data secure?

Tenant-isolated and OAuth-scoped per user, with encryption at rest via our infrastructure provider’s default configuration. GDPR-aligned; SOC 2 readiness in progress. Pathbound does not sell customer data, and we don’t call AI providers on your behalf—your MCP client does, under your account and the AI provider’s terms.

What about HubSpot, Pipedrive, Gmail?

Same MCP server, same tools—just connect a different source. See the integrations directory.

Try it on your own data

Within five minutes, your agent is querying real customer context.

Sign up, connect one CRM or drop the events snippet, and point your MCP client at mcp.pathbound.ai/mcp.
